IVS-Compliant Valuations for Use in Foreign Jurisdictions

If your business, fund or law firm needs a defensible value for a Ukrainian asset — or a valuation prepared in Ukraine that will stand up before a foreign court, bank or investor — you need a valuer who speaks both languages: the local market and the international standards.

The Kanzas company prepares valuations under the International Valuation Standards (IVS), in English, signed by valuers holding RICS and TEGoVA (REV) certifications — qualifications recognised across Europe and worldwide. With 20+ years of experience, our practice covers businesses and corporate rights, intangible assets, damages and loss of profit — including business valuations performed in most European Union countries.

When international clients engage us

  • war damage and loss of profit claims — for international arbitration, foreign courts and compensation mechanisms;
  • investing in or exiting Ukraine — due diligence support, M&A, market entry and relocation decisions;
  • cross-border transactions and restructurings involving Ukrainian assets;
  • reporting to lenders, investors and parent companies in the EU, the UK and the US;
  • valuations in EU jurisdictions — our track record includes valuing businesses and their units across most EU member states.

What IVS compliance and RICS/TEGoVA certification mean for you

The International Valuation Standards are the common language of the profession: uniform bases of value, substantiation requirements and report structure. For operating businesses and income streams we apply the income approach as the primary basis under IVS 105, with forecast substantiation built to withstand the scrutiny of an international reviewer; where actively traded comparables exist, the market approach carries substantial weight.

Certification matters just as much as standards: our reports are signed by valuers holding RICS and TEGoVA (REV) credentials — so the signature on your report carries a qualification your bank, auditor or tribunal will recognise.

Language and format

Reports are prepared in English, structured for an international user: executive summary, bases of value, assumptions and limiting conditions, data sources. A bilingual set (Ukrainian + English) is available where the assignment requires it.

The scope of our remit — stated candidly

We take on assignments that our RICS- and TEGoVA-certified valuers are qualified to sign without additional country-specific licences: business, corporate rights, intangibles and damages valuations are used globally, and the REV designation is recognised across the EU. Certain assignments, however, are reserved by local law for locally licensed professionals — for example, US real estate appraisals for lending purposes (state-licensed appraisers). In such cases we state the limits candidly and, where needed, work in tandem with your local specialist.

Track record

Our war damage and loss of profit reports are prepared for use before international judicial bodies — cash flows are denominated in US dollars, and the methodology rests on both national and international standards. We work with international clients fully remotely, across time zones.

We offer a report that will not need "translating and explaining", realistic timelines and an individual approach to the requirements of your jurisdiction and end user. Write to us by email or messenger — we will discuss your assignment and respond with a scope and fee proposal.
