An insured event always produces two figures: the one the insurer calculated, and the one your losses actually amount to. When the gap between them is wide, the law gives the policyholder a tool — an independent loss assessment.
The Kanzas company performs independent loss assessments for policyholders — owners of vehicles, property, cargo and businesses. 20+ years of experience.
When an independent assessment is needed
- the insurer has understated the payout — the calculation does not cover the actual losses;
- the insurer has declined the claim, disputing the amount of the loss;
- the loss is complex — equipment, inventory, several asset types at once;
- a figure is needed for a dispute or litigation with the insurer.
An independent figure is the policyholder's instrument
The insurer's inspection report is drawn up by its own expert — and protects its interests. An independent valuer's report is prepared under Law No. 2658-III and the national standards, depends on no party, and constitutes lawful grounds for revising the payout, filing a claim or going to court.
Assets covered
Vehicles after road accidents, real estate after fire or natural disasters, equipment, goods and cargo, business property.
How it works
- Review of the claim file: the policy, inspection reports, the insurer's calculation;
- Inspection by the valuer and/or desk work on the file materials;
- An independent loss calculation based on market data;
- A report — for negotiations with the insurer, a formal claim or court. Where needed: valuation for court.
We offer a calculation that withstands a dispute with the insurer, realistic timelines and an individual approach to every claim. Write to us by email or messenger — we will discuss your payout.
FAQ
Can the payout be challenged after signing the inspection report? Signing the inspection report does not waive the right to an independent assessment and revision.
Who pays for the independent assessment? The client; if the dispute is won, the costs may be recovered.
How much time is there to challenge? It depends on the policy — we advise acting without delay.
