Passenger car valuation is the determination of a vehicle's market value for sale, inheritance, notarial and court procedures, placing on the balance sheet, insurance or division of property. The result is documented in a Valuation Report accepted by notaries, courts, banks and government authorities.

Passenger cars are most often valued using the sales comparison approach — a comparison with the prices of similar vehicles — because the used-car market is highly developed and provides a sufficient basis for comparison. The work is carried out by a certified valuation entity in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and the National Valuation Standards.
